Deadline to vote is MIDNIGHT  ~~ November 21, 2011

You MUST be a MEMBER of the NG9-1-1 Institute
to vote  in this years election!

Voting Instructions/Rules:

The NG9-1-1 Institute Board of Directors/Election Committee has verified
each nominee.  The names that appear on Ballot A and Ballot B are eligible
to represent the constituency for which they were nominated. 


Submitting your ballot through the NG9-1-1 Institute website is encouraged and preferred, www.e911institute.org.

To be eligible to vote, you must be a current member of the NG9-1-1
Institute.
You can join the NG9-1-1 Institute at:  JOIN US
 

You can become a member at any time; however, for voting purposes
for the NG9-1-1 Institute 2012 Board of Director positions, you must join by
November 21, 2011 (midnight) for your vote will not be counted for this
election.

Please review the ballot carefully.  The ballot contains two (2) distinct sections:

Ballot A:  

Membership At Large positions:
2 positions ARE open.  MEMBERS WILL vote for 1 person in each of the following categories.

  • One (1) representative from public safety;
    Position Name: Public Safety Member At Large
     
     

  • One (1) representatives from the membership at large;
    Position Name: Member At Large 

EVERY MEMBER of the NG9-1-1 Institute is eligible to vote on Ballot A. 
The Ballot 
is open to ALL members of the NG9-1-1 Institute,
regardless of one's affiliation.

THIS BALLOT IS OPEN FOR individuals that are
represented
in the following categori
es:  Small telecommunication carriers/companies; vendor/integrator/software companies; and the education profession.

The following positions on Ballot B are open this year:

  • One (1) representative/education professional;
    Position Name: Educational Professional 

·     One (1) person representing a small telecommunications company

    Position Name: Small Telecommunications Company 
 

  • Two (2) representatives from a vendor/integrator/software company
     
    Position Name: Vendor/Integrator/Software Provider

Please note that the members who represent the following categories WILL NOT vote on Ballot B until next year when the following positions (categories)
are open for election. 

  • Large Telecommunications Company (1 position)
  • Wireless Industry  (1 position)
  • IP-Based Company (1 position)

Each Ballot (A & B) must indicate the affiliation by category of the voting member.  It will indicate either a specific designation or as a general member. 
 
It should be further noted that those nominees seeking election under either
Ballot A or B who receive more than one vote from members of their company
or organization (affiliation); all the votes will be counted as one vote for that nominee.
