- Serves as an information clearinghouse on E9-1-1 and emergency
communications issues and distributes timely, relevant information
to Members of Congress, Administration officials, federal,
state, and local public safety officials, and the general
public;
- Creates a forum for policy discussions related to E9-1-1
and emergency communications that will benefit public policy
development; and
- Assists members of the Congressional E9-1-1 Caucus in promoting
public education on E9-1-1 issues.
